How aivideoextend collects, uses, and protects your information when you extend and reframe videos with our AI service.
Introduction
aivideoextend ("aivideoextend", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website at aivideoextend.com and the related AI video service that extends your videos with newly generated footage and reframes them into multiple aspect ratios. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address. You can sign up with an email and password or with Google sign-in. If you use Google sign-in, we receive basic profile details (such as your email address) from Google to authenticate you. We do not store your Google password.
Uploaded videos and generated outputs. To use the service, you upload video files. We store these files and the extended and reframed outputs (up to 4K) that our AI generates from them so we can process your request and deliver the results to you.
Usage and device data. We collect limited technical and usage information, such as pages viewed, features used, browser and device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and error logs. We use privacy-friendly analytics that avoid invasive tracking.
Payment information. When you purchase a plan, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation of your transaction and limited billing details, but we do not collect or store your full card number. Card data is handled directly by the processor.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the service, including processing, extending, and reframing your videos;
- authenticate you and secure your account;
- process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud;
- send transactional emails such as account and billing messages;
- monitor performance, diagnose problems, and improve features; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Video Content and AI Processing
Your uploaded videos are processed in the cloud solely to provide the service: to generate footage that continues your shot and to reframe or resize your video into aspect ratios such as 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 while keeping your subject in frame.
You retain ownership of the videos you upload and the outputs you generate. You must have the rights to any content you upload, and you must not upload illegal, infringing, or non-consensual content, including deepfakes or likenesses of real people created without their consent.
We do not use your video content to train AI models without your explicit consent. Uploaded videos and generated outputs are retained only for the period described below and are then deleted. AI-generated output is provided "as is" and may contain imperfections.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us operate aivideoextend. These sub-processors include:
- Cloud hosting and storage (Cloudflare Workers, R2, and D1) to run the app and store files and account data;
- A payment processor (such as Stripe or Creem) to handle purchases;
- Transactional email (such as Resend) to send account and billing messages; and
- Privacy-friendly analytics to understand product usage.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our service.
Data Retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Uploaded videos and generated outputs are retained only as long as needed to provide the service and are automatically deleted within 30 days, unless you delete them sooner. We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Data Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and respond promptly to any incident.
International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure and sub-processors may process data in countries other than the one where you live. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards to ensure your information receives a comparable level of protection.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage much of your data from your account settings, including deleting uploaded videos and outputs. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below, and we will respond in line with applicable law.
Children's Privacy
aivideoextend is not intended for children. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required by local law) to use the service, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children below these ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
